Shop & Blacksmithing
Sanborn two-stage air compressor, Ingersoll Rand vertical air compressor, plasma cutter, oxyacetylene torch, generator, swagblock, and a variety of welders including Miller and Hobart models. The blacksmithing lineup is extensive with several coal and propane forges, extra forge blowers, a Trenton 260lb anvil, additional anvils, large post vices, a Clark metal bender, tinsmith molding anvil, a 1909 Mayer Bros 50lb trip hammer from Mankato, MN, and a wide array of blacksmith tools and hammers. Also included are a Clark drill press, bench grinders, sanders, polishers, rolling toolbox full of tools, shop press, dimensional and plate steel, chainsaws, and a floor jack.
Collectibles
Original pieces by Morgan, including a 6 ft fire-breathing dragon sculpture and a 6 ft horse head sculpture. Potbelly stove marked “Improved King B,” double ax heads, vintage trunk, Schwinn tricycle, walking sticks, jewelry, antlers from deer, caribou, and moose, as well as buffalo, elk, and deer mounts. Additional highlights include a 17-jewel pocket watch, antique rocking chairs, a Pendleton blanket, cow and horse hides, beaver pelts, a Fessenden coin bank, belt buckles, a Highway 19 sign, assorted hammerheads, a crank phone, arrowheads, a broad ax, marbles, tobacco tins, an old cash register, cowboy books, an antique fire extinguisher, and a vintage accordion. Arrowheads and so much more!
Firearms
Civil War-era Mass Arms Co. lever-action rifle (1865/2nd model), a reproduction 75-caliber flintlock Brown Bess musket, and a variety of black powder and percussion cap rifles including Thompson Center Fire, Lyman Great Plains, and a homemade 16-gauge shotgun with a 42” barrel. Other notable guns include a Winchester 1901 10-gauge lever-action shotgun, Colt Lightning pump .22, Cimarron/Chiappa 1874 drop block with scope, and various bolt-action .22s and black powder guns. Extra barrels and a Daisy 25 BB gun round out the selection.
Vehicle, Trailers & Boat
1995 Chevy 1500 pickup, 14ft Lund Rebel Adventure fishing boat with Mercury 40 EFI motor, two 7x12 Hallmark enclosed trailers, a 6x16 Boss 2 stock trailer, a 10ft flatbed with ramp.
Sporting Goods & Trapping
Hurd Super Caster rod and reel, goose, duck, swan, and crane decoys, 8-gauge shotgun shells, ammo, a military parade saber, turkey and coyote calls, scopes, a Matthews Switchback XT compound bow, meat grinder, hunting boots, gun powder, and a variety of longbows. Trapping supplies are extensive, with Conibear, Bridger, Victor, and Duke brand traps, as well as reloading equipment and bait.
Auctioneers Note: Morgan is well known for being a blacksmith, artist, hunter, and outdoorsman. There are few collections with the quality, quantity and variety of this one.
